Are you forever dreading waking up in the mornings to find another unwanted guest on your face? I have dedicated this site to let people know how to prevent spots and blemishes.
I had the occasional spot throughout my early teens but nothing too embarrassing. It wasn’t until I reached my late teens to early twenties when they really came with a vengeance and I just could not understand where they came from or why I was getting them, these weren’t just your everyday little pimples these were sore, persistent, angry swellings on and around my face that would throb at their peak and would just not leave me alone.
I really wanted to know how to prevent spots from persistently attacking me. As soon as one would begin to clear i.e. no reoccurring white head for a couple of weeks another would pop up, everybody would say I looked fine and I was being silly or they’re not as bad as you think.. Yeah right is all I could say, nobody understood apart from my older sister who again only felt the wrath of acne on her early twenties.
Acne ruined my self confidence and had began to make its mark on my skin officially and permanently…The scars had started which were still red sometimes slightly purple dots and it was then I had enough, how much more could I take.
I would forever be looking on the internet to find out how to prevent spots. I would try almost anything as I was so desperate, I would drink around 2 litres of water a day which I must say helped the condition of my skin in general but it didn’t help my acne, I became a big fan of green tea which I had read was high in anti-oxidants so must do some good.. It made me feel people would think I was dirty or lead an unbalanced, unhealthy lifestyle whereas I was quite the opposite.
Every day I would constantly be looking for ways on how to prevent spots from appearing. I obsessively tried making my own facial masks with oats, avocado and cucumber. I religiously washed my make up off at night time, cleansed and moisturised with non greasy facial products… Again my skin improved but my acne just would not go. I was constantly trying to figure out How to prevent spots from re- appearing.
Spending ridiculous amounts of money on expensive skin care brands is not the way to go as it is high perfume and is for specific skin types, the more I stressed about my skin another one would pop up, I hated looking at my reflection all day every day, with or without make up. I was an acne sufferer for about 7 years and within this time I tried topical and oral treatments prescribed by my doctor.
Acne does not mean you are dirty and have a poor skin care regime; acne is the effect of over active sebum glands under your skin. The last resort was a treatment called Roaccutane, this is the last resort for anybody and can have serious side effects on your health – short term and long term.
Because of the numerous side effects ranging from chapped lips to nose bleeds to psychotic breaks to suicide attempts this was not ‘the last resort’ I wanted to take. That’s when I searched harder on the internet for a way on how to prevent spots; I finally came across Acne No More which was a god send, I only wish I came across it years ago, it would of saved me years of misery and upset.
Head over to the main website on how to prevent spots from ever coming back and see what literally change my life and helped me regain my confidents.

So what is acne?

Acne is caused by the body creating too much oily secretion; this oily secretion is called Sebum, what happens is this secretion hardens into a plug which we know as a blackhead, this actually blocks the follicle opening. The pores which get blocked up actually allows bacteria to grow which is clinically known as propionibacterium acnes, this normally lives on the skin, well this gets trapped inside the skin and causes inflammation of the surrounding area which causes these unsightly spots to occur.

This all happens because of the hair follicles on your face allow the propionibacterium acnes to enter your skin where the hair follicles grow from the skins pores. There are two main forms of how a spot starts to appear and we know them as blackheads and whiteheads. A whitehead usually stays below the skins surface and causes a little white bump, this is known as a comedo, whereas if an open comedo reaches the skins surface and this produces a black plug this is what we know as a blackhead and for your information the colour of the black is not caused by dirt.

Who Gets Acne?

People of all ages and races can get acne, nearly all teenagers and young adults get spots on their faces. Roughly 85% of people between the ages of 12 and 24 get acne. For most of us we rid our unwanted guests by the age of thirty; however some people can have it well into their adulthood.

What Causes Acne?

Although the true cause of acne is not really known there are a few factors that are said to be the cause of this irritating problem, one being genetic, thus being passed down through one of your parents makes you more likely to suffer from acne, you also have your hormones that can be to blame as when you are going through puberty you are thought to produce excess sebum because of your sebaceous glands become enlarged through this period of your life.

These are just a few factors that I have learnt about this problem I once had and I have learned a lot by looking for ways on how to prevent spots. I have made a short video, you can watch it here.

Are you suffering from spots as a teenager or as an adult, I have struggled through my teens and my early adult life with acne and at times it has got me very low and depressed.

I was forever looking at ways on how to prevent spots from breaking out on my face. Acne is not through being dirty or lazy or even having a bad diet because I personally looked after myself very well.

Because I had this acne problem I looked after my health even more, I drank plenty of water and ate all of the right foods; I even started to drink plenty of Green Tea as this is high in antioxidants.
Throughout my teenage years was the worst for me as it was when I was at my lowest point, you know what teenage boys are like at that age, making fun of you for the way you look. Whenever I was out anywhere I would always be looking in shops for ways on how to prevent spots.

I would always look at the pretty girls, although I wasn’t ugly or anything I still looked at their smooth skin.
I’m just glad that I was a girl sometimes because I could hide my spots the best I could with makeup although this was potentially making my acne worse.
I will do a list of the things you need to take care of when looking after your skin:
1. Drink plenty of water throughout the day
2. For girls always wipe off your makeup before bedtime with cotton and water
3. Cleans and moisturise with non greasy facial products
4. Wash your skin with non perfumed soap
5. Wash your face with non perfumed products
Try topical and oral treatments which are often prescribed by your doctor or in some cases you can just ask over the counter for similar or such products.
Having acne, spots and pimples can be the most confidence damaging thing that can happen to a person and if you are anything like me and suffered quite badly then I’m afraid I only know too well how you are feeling and what you are going through.
I would always look on the internet on how to prevent spots, check out what I found here. After my years of suffering with spots I came across a solution from browsing the internet one day, after trying everything out there on the market I was glad I searched the internet and came across the product that help save my skin, my looks and my confidence.
